LOVE'S LAW OF HAPPINESS

For something to bring happiness, it should have the capacity to be delightful. We are most happy when we are pleased, either as a direct result of our own deeds or someone else’s. Love makes us happy. If you want to prove this right, notice a man or woman in love. The face shows it, and actions tell it all. The law of happiness is based on the principle that your action and behaviour could make someone happy and improve his or her quality of life. This means that before you do anything to someone, you should evaluate your actions and words first. No sooner is this done than you will be in a position to act or say something without offense.

Pleasing and making others happy is the ultimate goal of the law of happiness. Because the good you find in others is in you too. This law puts the happiness of others first before one’s own. When two people get married they bring two different ideologies, backgrounds, orientations, and tastes to the marriage table. Immediately you see potential trouble here. How can two sets of principles run a home? The answer is in the law of happiness. This law stipulates that each person compromises to accommodate the other. In this regard no one view predominates. Each person should be willing to let go of his or her presuppositions in order to court those of the other. There is just no other way happiness can come into a relationship without this law. Tensions are bound to arise where this rule is disregarded. The faults you find in others are your faults as well. After all, to recognize something you must know it.

In its simplest form this rule entails placing the interests of others above your own. How hard to do, yet so thrilling it is to do it! But you may ask, if I have to place the interests of others first, when will mine be considered? The answer is easy: after you have done good to others, others will do good to you. The good news is: for you it will come multiplied! The possibilities you see in others are possible for you as well.

The beauty you see around you is your beauty. Happiness brings energy, light and beauty. Happiness is the summer of fun, the synergy of disjointed joys! Happiness brings nourishment to friendships, purpose to marriage, and continuity to life. Offense is poison to the soul, but happiness brings healing. The world is endangered by lack of energy, but it cannot survive without happy hearts. Minds are troubled by lack of peace but cannot stand under the heavy burden of sadness. Those who walk in love are like the sun in its strength.

Maybe you’re looking at yourself and sighing, "Oh, I'm just nothing, what good can come out of me?" It is usually the weak who bring a turnaround of events. The world (people, attitudes and ideas) around you is a perfect reflection of you or a mirror showing you the person you are. You may not choose what happens, but you can decide how to react to what happens. Today you can choose to put on a face of joy rather than a countenance of somberness. You have the power to affect lives by your cheerfulness. The law of happiness can make a difference in somebody's life. But it will definitely make you jubilant, exuberant, and triumphant! Let your love shine like the sun in its brilliance.
